Bruce Dickson (and his stance on purity) is still having an impact on the web and beyond.
An MSNBC article by author Dawn Eden titled, “Thrill of the chaste:In defense of sexless dating” argues against today’s ‘Sex and the City’ lifestyle and discusses her book. In the article she mentions Bruce and his American Idol audition. From that article,
I had just finished a lecture based on my book “The Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On,” in which I lamented how modern society ridicules virginity.
